Tommi and Amy have an Early November Wedding

The Secret Garden were thrilled to welcome Amy and Tommi into the garden for their beautiful Southern Highlands wedding in early November.

The couple chose The Secret Garden as their ceremony venue for the variety of garden spaces available and the fact that we had a wet weather option that still allowed an open, in the garden feel, even if the ceremony needed to be undercover.

The day dawned cool with a bit of drizzle, but the rain held off for the afternoon ceremony providing a lovely overcast grey sky which enhanced the lush greenery of the garden and produced some truly stunning photography.

The couple wanted to create a unique back drop for their ceremony with strong colours to match the bridesmaid’s dresses. So, with Tommi undertaking the carpentry work needed to build the arbour and Amy suppling the drapery and creating the beautiful florals to adorn it, a stunning setting was achieved.

The Secret Garden is one of the few sites in the Southern Highlands that allows you to completely customise each element of your wedding day to make it perfect for you – DIY brides and those wanting to book specific vendors are welcome here.

Amy and Tommi chose The Fountain Garden for their ceremony and their vows were witnessed by around 75 guests.

Family and friends organised grazing plates and drinks on the Terrace and covered Deck (the heaters on the deck were most welcome) for after the ceremony whilst the bridal party and family were able to utilise the many areas in the garden for their photography.

The photographer was able capture some truly stunning and unique photos for the beautiful couple.

As you can see from the selection of shots we have included here, The Secret Garden provides a variety of garden spaces in which to capture beautiful photography without having to travel to several locations.

What a wonderful shot of the entire group, such a great way to remember your day.

In early November, the beautiful pink roses at the entrance to The Wisteria Arbour are in full bloom, helping to create great shots.

A beautiful shot of the happy couple leaving for the reception in their Mustang, with our white gazebo in the background providing a beautiful architectural element to the image.

We wish to congratulate Tommi and Amy on their beautiful wedding and wish them all the best for their future.

If you’re interested in booking The Secret Garden for your wedding, we would love to help you plan your dream day.
